The Bay Is Blue

You think maybe you’ve been caught in a lie, not a little one like “no your butt doesn’t look big in those jeans”, a BIG one, like “are you interested in someone else??”…. And okay, yes your butt looks big, but that’s because it IS big… And then it’s like “Why on Earth would you ask me if I like them??”, with as innocent a face as you can muster… All the while thinking “They’re on to me, oh Gawd!! How?? Did someone tell?? Do I talk in my sleep?? Is it that obvious? Are they just suspicious, or do they KNOW??”. So how do you answer, if you don’t want to lie, yet you can’t tell the truth either? Know what I mean, Jelly Beans?
