Chaff AND Wheat LOL??

I was seriously considering taking today off from Posting, but I’m bursting at the seams with this one, and can’t contain myself, LOL! We were having a rather casual Dinner (okay, we were slouched all over the furniture in front of the telly), trying to out-do one another with the most improper Dinner conversation we could come up with. There are two among us that taught us long ago, they’re always going to win at this! They ask us if we’ve ever heard of the Celebrity Death Pool, and we all stop chewing. I’m picturing some Hollywood mansion with a Killer diving board or something, where lots of 1940′s stars and starlets bonked their heads and drowned? It’s never quite that simple with these two though, LOL! They go on to explain that it’s a “lottery” of sorts, a game you enter, and it’s hardly new, it’s been around for some time now, and got its’ start among secretaries, of all people? You choose say maybe ten famous people, but they have to be ones that for whatever your logic, won’t live out the year… The only way you win is if most of yours lose, in other words. By this time we’re all perfectly horrified, and saying how sick is THAT?? They fire up the lappie, type in www.stiffs.com and there we see it all, and get even MORE mortified! As we read on though, I start to notice a few giggles, and not all of them are coming from me, LOL! I actually laugh out loud at a few of the names on this insanely long list, mostly because I thought they were already dead. But the icing on the cake was “The Whatificator”, there’s even a picture of it LOL!! It’ll hook together celebs of your choice in untimely demise in little scenarios, (what if Eminem were crushed in a trash compactor, and Martha Stewart was electrocuted while trying to pull him out? Extra points for this!!). A Clergyman was asked what he thought of this, and his reply was “These people are going to die sometime, the wagerers aren’t killing them, so why not?”… Hmm…LOL! There are quite a few of these sites, too! I want to be horrified, but I’m also sort of amused at the same time… Chaff AND wheat!
